Please log in to AIPM web page and update your information
Dear AIPM Members,
During the AIPM annual meeting in Vancouver, it was decided that we need to enhance our web page so that it may be used more effectively as a communication media among medical physicists' colleagues and students. In achieving that objective, we have updated the page with the latest web engine and transferred the information from the previous database into this new page.
Looking at the D-base, I noticed that some of you have entered the bare minimum information (just email address) in the application questionnaire and that needs to be filled. We purposely made the application simple with no nagging restriction for registration, but were hoping you will complete it. The site is very secure and the information is not distributed elsewhere. For easy contact among members, we will probably display your name, email address, phone number, your area of specialty, and City/State so that if someone is looking for job, has a job to offer, or just wants to get general information, they can contact the right person. If this information gets abused for any reason by anyone, we will then restrict or remove it. We have programmed the page such that this information can be automatically transferred from your application’s data fields and tabulated for easy viewing. This will allow much easier communication among members as was stated as an objective during the annual meeting.
You will also find that we have added a translator to the site so that the content can now be translated in over 80 or so languages. If you use this feature and go to a language you don't know, the way to come back is to click on flag of England which will bring you back to English world.
Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.
